Content 26 & v1.8.2 Update!

Tap Zoo'ers, another recent update has brought with it new animals, achievements, crossbreeds, and staff.

Minor Updates

Version 1.8.2 was released on May 26 which contains a fix for a problem on "The Janitor" achievement which would reset the counter of trash collected back to zero.

Content 26 also contains miinor fixes:

  • Fixed Baby Tortoise and Lobsterman Allan images
  • Changes to Flamingo: Experience From Buying - 308 to 600; Revenue 12,200 to 14,200 Coins; Experience: 850 to 990
  • Correction on text in Rescue Animals Achievement: Step 6.

 

All other changes below are included in the Content 25 Update.

 

New Crossbreeds

Content 25 introduces 17 new crossbreeds, 16 of which can be are attainable using coins only.

There are also quite a few new animals that are offered as part of the content 25 update that is available for a limited time.  Remember, you can only purchase them on the specified dates. Once those dates expire, you can no longer purchase them.

Changes to Breeding Slots

Content 25 added new breeding slots.  There are now 8 Breeding slots, however, except for the initial breeding slot which costs just 100 coins, each additional breeding slot will cost you 499 stars.

New Staff

With new animals comes new staff, which is required in Tap Zoo to take care of all of your owned animals.  Without them you will not get a good grade and you will not be able to purchase more animals.

New Quest - Platy the Platypus

This is a beginner quest which is available to all players starting at level 6.  In fact, the new quest is now a prerequisite of the "Rescue Allison's Animals" quest.  There only 4 steps to the quest and you should be able to complete this in a day and a half.
