Cross Breeding
Velociraptor? Pegasus? Minotaur? Is this a zoo, Jurassic Park or or Fantasyland? Cross breeding animals can result in an unexpected mix of animals. But be careful, the return of investment on these animals aren't what you'd expect when spending hundreds of stars and millions of coins.
Cross Breeding Slots
You can get up to 10 cross breeding slots. With breeding time starting at around 12 hours each, you'll probably need them. When you reach level 7, you can start cross-breeding by purchasing a nest for 100 coins.

How to Cross Breed
You can start cross breeding at level 6. Cross breeding requires you to take too animals and breed them from the Cross Breeding menu. You need to own at least one of each of the animals for you to cross breed. Use the Cross Breeding Combination List below to figure which animals you can cross breed and what it will result in. Cross Breeding does take time so be aware of cross breeding times which are also listed.
One other thing to note is that although it cost you coins to acquire both the animals needed to cross breed, the actual cross breeding may require you to pay stars.
The Cross Breeding Combination List below shows you the crossbred animal is in the first column and the two animals that are needed to crossbreed. You must have at least 1 of each that is listed. Levels that are listed for each cross breed depend on the minimum levels required to acquire both animals used in cross breeding. As an example, to cross breed a Moose, you need an Anteater (Level 9) and an Armadillo (Level 4). So the Moose is listed as Level 9 since you won't be able to get both animals until level 9.
Tip: Although collecting animals for your zoo are your main focus, and some of these crossbred animals are indeed impressive, but review the Animal Buying Guide before buying to know if it's worth your hard-earned coins and stars. You might be surprised as to how little some of these crossbred animals generate revenue.
