Version 2.2 & Content 31 Update!

Tap Zoo'ers, in late July, Pocket Gems released an updated App and also another Content update (Content 31).

 

New Features in Version 2.2

  • Ability to rotate animals and decorations. You can have it face either south (bottom-left) or east (bottom-right). Actually, this is simply a mirror image of the animal or decoration.  If you don't believe me, try rotating the Donut shop and take notice of the "DONUTS" sign and the shadow.
  • Daily Bonuses.  This was in previous versions of Tap Zoo, however, greater rewards are given. It seems it can be compounded, however there seems to be a glitch here.
  • Auto-connecting Sidewalks and Shrubs.  Can't figure out whether you need a NSE or a NSW sidewalk? Use these new auto-connecting sidewalks and shrubs to take the guesswork out.
  • Performance Improvements.  These are always welcome!  Now if they can only speed up the time my darn animals would breed.

New Animals - Unlockable

A new animal is available with the Content 31 update, but it requires that you complete the achievements first.

  • Javan Rhino - Unlocked by completing the Email Newsletter achievement.  Tap the achievement and then follow the instructions listed.  Available at Level 5.

 

New Animals - Limited Time Offers

There are also quite a few new animals that are offered as part of the content 31 update that is available for a limited time.  Remember, you can only purchase them on the specified dates. Once those dates expire, you can no longer purchase them.
